Kylian Mbappe confirmed to finally leave PSG this season

Kathmandu: The French forward Kyliyan Mbappe has finally confirmed he will be leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer, ending the long-running drama.

Shortly after news broke that Kylian Mbappe had confirmed his intention to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, Aurelian Choumeni took to social media to post nothing more than a few popcorn emojis.  No words were necessary.

The message was as clear as it was brief: Tchunami football fans are eager to see what happens on the world's longest-running soap opera.

The midfielder's eagerness is completely understandable. Mbappe will soon come to Real Madrid.

The French champions will likely receive some sort of financial compensation - MbappĂ© could forego some of the bonuses he received or even pay PSG his signing-on fee - but the sponsorship deals, commercial opportunities and social media followers the club will have to deal with are incredibly heavy for losing the world's best player.  Pay the price.

Despite Neymar and Lionel Messi both playing for PSG, Mbappe was PSG's most valuable player.

He was not only one of the greatest talents in the game, he was a homegrown hero.  In his ideal world, the boy from Bondi would have led PSG to their first ever Champions League title.  But this Paris fairy tale has long been funny.

Capitals' playoff chances were dashed by Royal Challengers Bangalore, where they lost in the table by 16 points.

LSG still have two games left but their hopes are still not low.  The KL Rahul-led team will forget the previous defeat and try to change their fortunes against DC.

Both teams aim to win the rest of the match but will try their luck on the other team's results.

Super Giants speedster Yash Thakur has been the leading wicket-taker for the team this season with 11 wickets in the bank. The youngster also holds a five-wicket haul to his name and can prove to be lethal in the opening stages of the game.
